If there is one vital lesson 2021 has taught me is to be “accountable”. The year 2021 reiterated the concept of accountability  to me and that was instrumental in achieving my goals. Accountability is to all about being held responsible.  

Being held responsible to my set goals, plans and commitments. Honouring the commitments that I made to achieving my goals. Again, honouring every commitment that I made to any individual. Accountability is fundamental to achieving your goals. Being held accountable is the motivation we need to be able to achieve our goals.

Everyone has the capability of planning and writing down goals. However, it takes discipline, commitment and accountability to implement every plan.

Accountability partners

I went as far as finding three accountability partners to hold me responsible for my plans.  It was a daunting encounter however, something beautiful came out of it. I stood the test of correction, reminders and love. To be consistently reminded about my end goal and to focus on the bigger picture.

Maybe you are slacking in implementing your goals. Don’t you think its time you find yourself an  accountability partner to check in with you in 2022? We all need a little push in the right direction. Yes, sometimes it is not easy doing it alone. It’s okay to ask for the support that you need.

Let us make 2022 a different year where we implement every goal that we set to achieve.
