STORY TIME:

COVID-19’s devastating upsurge changed the cause of the world completely. The global pandemic exposed the many challenges prior COVID-19 and reminded us of the historical inequalities faced worldwide. An outbreak that exposed an inefficient healthcare system and introduced new conversations about the access of free healthcare. A tragic outbreak that left many with traumatic experiences of loss. The divisions widening and the need for leadership to join hands.

The coronavirus outbreak is wreaking the economy globally. There needs to be the presence of leaders that are committed to providing solutions on how to contain this infectious disease. These leaders need to be transparent and accountable. COVID-19 is heightening, and more challenges are overtaking the headlines.

The global pandemic is not about to pause for leaders to address challenges prior COVID-19. The global pandemic has proven to be here to stay. COVID-19 is an integral challenge in our “slipping healthcare system”. The tragedy is the impact of the many human losses.

A call to global leaders to act quickly. COVID-19 has shown that it waits for no one. COVID-19 requires no permission to cause calamity. COVID-19 will not wait for conflict to disperse in political governments. COVID-19 will certainly not voluntarily leave.

COVID-19 cannot be conquered regionally. This global pandemic requires global leaders to effectively cooperate for transformation to be made possible. The longer we persist in addressing coronavirus outbreak the more we place the vulnerable in unpleasant positions. This global pandemic has placed the destitute with no social protection.

A plea to start sharing medical knowledge and ensuring universal healthcare access right now, before it’s too late. Enough is enough, coronavirus cannot take our people and now our ability to think!
