Content plan- introducing our theme “The Africa we need”
November 11, 2022

On the 15th of July 2022, I turned 30. I don’t know whether I was the only one who was very anxious about the so-called “3rd floor”. You see growing up, we have these hopes, dreams and goals. We also set timelines of when we want to have achieved our goals.

Dreams, goals and timelines are practically part of my life.

The real question is whether were all the expectations met? Mmmh obviously not all and in fact this is just the beginning. We have a tendency of living up to unnecessary expectations. In reality ,what we should be focused on is living out our purpose boldly. This sometimes means that you will experience setbacks, delays and failure. On other occasions, your life will not make sense even to you.

Sometimes, you will feel stagnant and helpless. Let this be a reminder that pause could be time for you to realign or reinvent yourself. However, the beauty in all of this is that you get an opportunity to try.

Then one day, everything will make sense and will begin falling into place. That’s where I am now. This part of my life is called making sense and falling into place. This part of my life also means that everything is as it should be. I am where I need to be and I am very content.

Entering into my 30’s made me realise that this is actually the beginning. It really starts making sense at 30.

I will be sharing some lessons learnt in my 20’s and addressing challenges facing Africa.

You are where you need to be.

I thank you for the birthday wishes everyone.

Ngiyabonga.
