According to the World Bank (2020), “sub-Saharan Africa also has the highest rate of entrepreneurship globally, and this is the only region where the majority of entrepreneurs are women”. Supporting women entrepreneurs can help promote gender parity and stimulate economic growth.
The future of the African continent lies in the hands of female entrepreneurs, and this means that women must not be left behind in the era of the fourth industrial revolution. We need to break the digital divide locally, regionally and globally.
We need to confront the violence that women are faced with and increase the security of women.
Meet Nelly Paulser a Co-Founder, Social Entrepreneur, and Luxury Event Stationery Designer from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Nelly is bridging the gender gap in a male dominated industry.
She is an Accountant & Disruptive Social Entrepreneur. With over 10years work experience in the field of Accounting, but her passion has always been in the arena of business. We can say Entrepreneurship is an inherent part of her.
She is a firm advocate of safety and empowerment of both women and children in support of SDG3, SDG4, SDG5 & SDG16.
