S torytelling and Writing - Botlhale Hub Afrika ensures that women and children use their voices to share stories. We ensure to assist women and children to tell stories affecting them the best way they know how to. We use innovative, creative and flexible ways to ensure these stories are told authentically. We want to hear from local, regional and international women on their experiences of social issues. We celebrate the art that comes with telling your story and owning your truth. We locate these women through networking, social media, women-led organisations, organisations addressing social issues and referrals.
These stories will be shared through interviews, dialogues, inspirational letters and supportive interactions. Once these stories are shared with us, we published them on our blog post for the world to read them. These stories will be accessible on our website. The stories can be read anytime and anywhere in the world. The unsung truth is that African literature needs to be celebrated because we need to preserve our heritage and language through written work. There is a need for us to keep on publishing content written by Africans because it is relatable and relevant. It seeks to identify our presence as Africans in the community. It also seeks to nurture our African identity:
Botlhale Hub Afrika is on a quest to liberate Africans to through reading stories written by Africans. We select a book from authors across Africa read and review the read. We are on a quest to celebrate our stories and instil a reading culture amongst Africans.
